I recently was fortunate enough to be invited to South Africa on a SpotLife mission with the Skatepark of Tampa. Our first night in Johannesburg took us to The Emperor’s Palace basically a Disney World slash Vegas Casino. No Americanized world is complete without a Hooters. We tried to get our driver to take us to downtown Johannesburg so we could explore the city, but he refused. We still insisted, after asking if our camera gear would be okay he replied, “They will steal more than just your camera, they will steal YOU!”
