We arrived in Soweto to check out the Hector Pieterson museum, and Nelson Mandella’s house. If you haven’t heard about Pieterson’s story you can read up on it here. We also hit up a gnarly convenience store which was actually the opposite of convenient, and more like a jail. After that we hit up Mandela’s house and restaurant.
